This event was inspired by a recent motivational speaking engagement that I attended which showed me that there are heroes everwhere throughout our community and family that we do not recognise because we are too busy with our daily lives. Here is a chance for you to celebrate those people that you hold dear, those who reach out to others without even knowing that they are doing it. Those ordinary people who change other's lives in the most wonderful ways. Harringtons would like to celebrate individuals who have shown exceptional courage, kindness and unselfish character by their acts of heroism in our community. Nominate A Hero If you know an everyday hero, please e-mail us why you are nominating this person. You may nominate individuals for any act that you feel is heroic, whether it be your Mum for standing by you when you took a chance, your cricket coach who told you that you could do it, or your parents for making sure you were out of harms way and safe. Whatever the reason, nominate your Harringtons Everyday Hero today! We will be announcing a hero each month and we look forward to receiving your nominations telling us who inspires you, who gives you courage and who you feel is an Everyday Hero. |
